Jill Noddin began her college education at the University of Massachusetts in Boston where she studied music with an emphasis on vocal performance. While studying, she was involved in the University chamber choir and concert choir as well as, sang in many recitals. She graduated cum laude, with a degree in vocal performance.

After graduating, she enrolled in classes at the New England Conservatory where she took private lessons and was also cast in numerous roles in their continuing education opera scenes program. Along with opera studies, Jill Noddin has participated in classes for specific study of art song, IPA, diction and audition techniques. She still continues to study ​voice with Janice Giampa and Dan Wyneken both of the New England Conservatory.

Jill Noddin has performed both as a soloist and choral member in and around the Boston area. She has given solo recitals in Mansfield, Foxboro, Cambridge, Brookline, South Boston and Copley Square at the Old South Church in Boston. She has also been a soloist at St. Mark’s Church and Bethany Church in Foxborough, MA. Most recently, she performed at Indian Hill Music School with faculty members performing works of John Dowland with lute. She is currently an active soloist in the Boston area.

She has performed as a choral member with Chorus Pro Musica with featured performances at Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall and Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center with conductor, Jeffrey Rink. She was chosen to sing with the Boston Philharmonic performing Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” under the baton of Benjamin Zander at Symphony Hall and Sanders Theater along with singing as a member and soloist for the New England Conservatory Camerata under the direction of Lorna Cooke deVaron.

Jill Noddin currently teaches private voice at the Foxborough High School and at her home studio. Under her approach to singing, her students have achieved prizes in NATS-Boston Song Festivals as well as, acceptance into Jr. districts, Districts and All-State school auditions. Students from her studio have been accepted to prestigious music schools such as Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Molloy: CAP 21, Frost School of Music, Montclair and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In addition to offering private voice lessons, she has also held audition technique seminars, dramatic acting classes and was also vocal coach for many musicals around the area in the past ten years.

Mrs. Noddin for several years, has been a judge for the NATS Boston chapter Song Festival auditions and most recently, has become a member of the board for the South Shore Children’s Chorus.

Along with teaching, Mrs. Noddin continues to work as a freelance professional soprano soloist, recitalist and choral director.

Currently, she is teaching at both Franklin Foxboro High School as a member of their adjunct faculty as well as, her home studio.

Private lessons are offered at the half hour, 45 minut​e and hour.
